What a Lesson Looks Like in a Thinking Classrooms
In this workshop, I look at the new research on how to close out a thinking classroom lesson. Participants will experience a full thinking classroom lesson on a curricular topic and see first hand how these new practices effectively help them to turn their collective knowing-and-doing into individual knowing-and-doing. The practices discussed will intertwine with, and make extensive references to Mathematics Tasks for the Thinking Classrooms (S + M).
